Company Profile.
Annual rollup of your operations — inventory, fleet, facilities, policies, people. Numbers where we can get numbers.
Who this is for: Any company in the show: show organizers and associations, exhibitors, Official Service Providers, exhibit houses, producers and suppliers. This is the annual “who we are” score, separate from any single show or booth.

Project Profile — score a specific show.
Every show is different. A company policy doesn’t guarantee the next build follows it. This is where you score the actual project: what was built, moved, powered, disposed of. Select your role and project type to get questions custom-built for your scope of work.
Who this is for: Anyone working on a show, including organizers, contractors, exhibit houses, suppliers and venues, scoring their part of a specific project. Your role determines which questions appear. A single exhibitor with one booth should use the Booth score instead.
Doesn’t apply to you? Click N/A (“I don’t have this”) next to any item. It is removed from your score instead of counting as zero. Your score is points earned divided by points possible on the items that apply to your role, times 100.
Trade shows usually move a lot of material. Focus on drayage consolidation, carpet reuse, waste diversion at teardown, and overnight power-down.
Corporate events are often one-off builds with tight timelines. The biggest wins come from modular-first design briefs, rental furniture, and post-event scorecards for the client.
Road shows multiply every decision across cities. Reuse rate is your strongest lever — modular systems and crated graphics that survive the tour. Consolidation and SmartWay carriers compound at scale.
Conferences are attendee-heavy and usually move less material than trade shows. Digital registration, lanyard take-back, water stations, and F&B waste diversion deliver the most impact.
Brand activations are high-visibility and short-lived. Design for disassembly from the start, specify rental or modular structures, and plan your end-of-life before you build.
Association meetings repeat annually. Year-over-year benchmarking is your superpower — track every metric and publish the slope. Exhibitor sustainability guidelines have outsized impact here.
Energy consumed on the show floor, generator use, renewable mix, and lighting efficiency.

Intensity is the number your client’s ESG team will request. Track your own intensity year over year. Industry benchmarks will be published once members report.

Score a single booth.
For exhibitors, custom builders, or any booth owner who wants to know where this specific build stands. Three scales work together: Company (who you are), Project (a whole show), and Booth (one footprint on the floor).
Exhibitor & booth: For most builds, the exhibitor and the booth share a name — one brand, one footprint, one score. If a single exhibitor runs multiple distinct booths across regions or programs, score each one separately and label them (e.g., “Acme · East,” “Acme · West”). A booth that travels to ten shows still gets one score and reports reuse across all ten.
Uncheck anything your booth doesn’t have. Its questions are marked N/A and left out of your score, so a booth with no carpet or no graphics isn’t marked down. You can still change any single question below.
Want an outside rating too? Better Stands rates how reusable a stand is: single use, bronze, silver or gold.

Score this booth across four pillars
Based on the From Build to Breakdown guidance (ESCA × EDPA × EIC). Every field that applies to a single booth build lives here — structures, flooring, furnishings, lighting, graphics, packaging, waste, logistics, and energy.
No flooring, no graphics, no furniture? Click N/A (“I don’t have this”) next to that item. It is removed from your score instead of counting against you.
